Western Port Craft Expo is a celebration and exhibition of the best craftwork in Western Port and on the Mornington Peninsula.
The Craft Expo is to be held again on Saturday, 20 April, 2024 at Hastings Community Hub,
1973 Frankston-Flinders Road, Hastings, 3915 (Melways 154 G8).
Time – 10.00am until 4.00pm
Entry – $5 Adults, $2 School-age children
The one-day Expo showcases the fine products of craft artisans at work and allows attendees to view craft demonstrations, and for some crafts, even ‘have a go’.
Over the past 12 years, we’ve had many different crafts demonstrated – spinning, saori weaving, rugmaking, papermaking, millinery, spoon carving, leatherwork – and we also feature several craft talks. Kids are also catered for with a kids craft area.
Stallholders are welcome and they are encouraged to work on their craft throughout the day and, although it is not a market, sell some of their craft items.
